How I stay motivated.

I don’t.
Just like many other people I too experience some off days and there’s nothing wrong with that. There are times where I don’t feel like working out at all, desperately need my cheat meals, prefer to hang in the sofa in stead of being active and so on, but we’re all human and it’s very normal to feel that way once in a while. If you’re having one of those moments, it’s up to you how long it lasts and the only one who’s responsible for your actions and behavior is you. Make sure you’re not getting too comfortable in your OFF mode, it can lead to laziness, un-productivity, even self-pity and before you know it you got yourself stuck in a new bad habit.

So here’s the thing. I’m not always motivated, but I have taught myself to always be disciplined. Discipline is doing what needs to be done even if you don’t feel like doing it. For example your daily job. You might not always be excited to go to work, but you have no other choice so you go. No job, no money. Same goes for being active. No action, no results. When I made this kind of mindset switch a lot of things started to change. I just do what needs to be done and by doing that it became a part of who I am. You will never always be motivated, but you can teach yourself to be disciplined! I recommend it highly and like everything else in life, all beginning is difficult but gets better by time.

One of the things that’s working very good for me at this moment is to visualize. Here’s what I do. My Iphone background picture is one of my goals. Every time I check my phone I am reminded to my goals, so when i’m having an off moment it helps me to get back on track. My goals depend on what I’m doing so in order to get I must first do. The second thing that’s helping me is my DMO (daily method of operation). If you have a good structure and planning, your chances on succeeding will increase immediately, IF you decide to put your DMO as a priority. To me my DMO is the key to everything! No planning is saying yes to chaos. Chaos causes stress which will have an effect on your focus so NO CAN DO.
Than there’s my last method and probably the most effective, is to surround myself with women on the same mission as me, getting fit, healthy and happy. This has such a big impact on me and how I treat myself today, it’s really unbelievable. It’s easier to keep up if you’re not alone and if you have some women in your corner cheering for you. Our fit girls community is really awesome and I’m so grateful to have this kind of positive energy in my life.
